U3A Godley

U3A Godley is one of several Christchurch U3A groups, and was started in 2006. It meets regularly for courses of lectures on Monday mornings at the Christchurch Art Gallery. Morning tea at 10:15 is an opportunity to meet with other members before the lecture at 10:45. Lectures last approximately an hour, including time for questions.

In the future we hope to offer additional less formal courses, often of short duration, perhaps involving a field trip or a visit to a place of interest. Or they could be held in a member's home, with just a few people. A much greater range of topics could be covered.

We also have interest groups which meet regularly.
