About U3A Arts Centre

U3A Arts Centre is one of several U3A Groups in Christchurch, New Zealand.

It was formed in 1998, and met in the historic Arts Centre, which was the first site of the University of Canterbury. U3A Arts Centre currently meets for lectures on Friday mornings at St Marks Church , 150 Withellls Road , Avonhead.  Each lecture is part of a Course, which consists of 5 weekly lectures with a break between each Course. Five Courses per year are provided. A morning tea is available at 10.15am, and lectures start at 10.30am and last for up to one hour.

Group attendances to musical and theatrical performances , luncheons ,and outings to places of interest are organised from time to time.
